Here I use Present.Me to introduce building names to young learners. Check it out!
Video Presentation Software
Wanting to spice up the teaching of building names in one of my young learner classes, I set about making a short video. I decided to use Present.Me, literally, to present me, or, well, present my hometown of London. I simply uploaded pre-prepared slides of generic buildings, and recorded myself describing the pictures on each slide. It’s easy to pause, re-record and edit the presentation you are working on. And sharing what you make is facilitated by access to links that you can embed in your own blog or website, share via email or upload to YouTube.
Like all good, online tools, this comes with a 7 day free trail. And then the Basic package costs $3.95 per month, allowing you to store 3 active presentations on their servers, at any one time. If that sounds a bit pricey then visit their Education site, where you can use the software for FREE if you sign up as a teacher or student.
