Chinese Teacher 5
Teacher 5 does not have a general teaching certificate (the British equivalent is the P.G.C.E), but she does have a Masters in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. She is a new teacher, with two years teaching experience.
T5 uses a text book as the basis of her teaching strategy, and always prepares her own lesson plans. She likes to use multimedia in the classroom. And limits her use of English in the classroom to only beginner students. She emphasises the study of Chinese characters in her classes.
Regarding professional development, she occasionally participates in a “Teachers Salon” organised by her school, which gives her a lot of ideas to use in the classroom.

第五位汉语老师教汉语两年了。她没有考“对外汉语教师资格证”，但是她读硕士的专业是“对外汉语理论”。
这位老师使用固定的教材，同时她也使用其它的资源。她认为自己准备教案很重要。她喜欢在教室里使用多媒体资源。她教初级学生的时候使用学生的母语。在问卷中，她强调了学习汉字的很重要性。
在她的学校，有定期的“教师沙龙”和“汉语教学讲座”，从中她学到了很多好的方法。
